Deuterated Plastic Foil (deuteride)

"When I started the laser fusion experiment, I had to make the deuterated target from raw deuteride material by myself. It took a few months and a lot of effort to achieve it. If there is a company providing such deuterated targets, and even with the ability of mass production, that would be fantastic."

Deuterated Plastic Foil (deuteride)

"In my experiment with the Helium-3 ion beam from cyclotron, the deuterated foil target helps a lot in the energy spectra identification. The highest peak is from the fusion reaction of Deuterium-Helium-3."

--- Jan Wirtz (MSc, RWTH-Aachen Uni.)

Deuterated Foam Material

"The deuterated foam material plays an important role in laser fusion target. The density of foam material can be adjusted in the near-critical density region according to the high-power laser wavelength. The foam shell in the laser fusion target can mitigate the super-intensive laser imprint and reduce the plasma instability.
We are developing such deuterated foam material for laser fusion experiment and fusion industry in future."

Borane Targets for Proton-Boron Fusion

"The proton-boron fusion reaction is an exciting alternative without neutron emission compared to D-T fusion. Solid boranes are a good choice for target fabrication and have been used already within our EIC-Pathfinder project Vortex4Fusion. We will develop a method for mass production of micro-/nano-structured borane targets for laser fusion."
